Coffee that knows
its city

On North Mesa Street, we roast, bake, and serve with the same pride that makes El Paso worth talking about. Every cup carries the spirit of the Sun City — bold, warm, and unmistakably local.

Rooted in the
Sun City

The City Coffee Bar opened its doors on North Mesa Street with a simple conviction: El Paso deserves a coffee experience that matches its character. Not an afterthought, not a chain copy — a place that reflects the grit, warmth, and creativity of this desert city.

We source our beans from small roasters who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. Our bakery items are made from scratch each morning using recipes passed down through generations and adapted for the Palomino Desert palate.

Bakery
Fresh Daily

Every morning before sunrise, our bakers arrive to prepare the pastries and breads you'll find on our display case. Nothing comes frozen. Nothing sits overnight. If it's on the shelf, it was made today.

Our croissants are laminated by hand. Our sourdough ferments for 48 hours. Our muffins use real butter and locally sourced eggs. It takes more time — but that's what makes them worth the wait.

A place for
El Paso to gather

We opened The City Coffee Bar to be a third place — not work, not home, but somewhere in between. A spot where students study, remote workers find their rhythm, friends catch up over a pour-over, and newcomers discover why they love living here.
